What’s up I’m Sam and welcome to my humble home studio, Old Ocean Sound. If you’re here you probably know a little about me, but if you don’t here’s the deal.
I’m a self producing artist releasing all of my latest and greatest original music out of this studio. Until now I’ve only worked on my own music, but I’m now opening my doors to outside projects. Music is my passion and bringing songs to life puts a smile on my face. I want to put great music out into the world and I want to help you do that too.

I’ve been there, and still am…
As an artist and songwriter I know how much you put into crafting your songs and honing your chops.
As a producer I have the unique skills to help bring the sounds you have in your head onto a recording.
As a musician I have the ability to play multiple instruments to help lay the foundation of a track before we decide any particular direction to go.
As a studio owner (and probably what I’m most proud of honestly), is I’ve setup this space up to be record-ready so that we can be tracking drums one minute, bass the next, electric guitars and vocals all within one session. A great workflow helps the ideas flow much better and saves time and money.

Need quick drums? Vibey electric swells? A catchy acoustic riff? Background vocals? Send me the tracks you have or a mix to play along to and I’ll take care of the rest. I like to use Wetransfer or Samplyapp to transfer files (easy and free).
Demos
Whether you want me to demo your song or you have an acoustic track that you’re looking to build up, a Demo session is great to knock out ideas and come up with a plan for the final track.
Singles & Ep’s
Whether it’s one song we focus on or a collection, I believe in taking the time to get it right. Good things come to those who wait…unless of course we nail it on the first try! When completed you’ll have a fully mixed and mastered track or EP, ready for release. You’re always welcome to Master your tracks elsewhere.
Lessons
For kids interested in home recording, I’m offering group recording lessons. In these sessions we’ll learn about microphones, mic placements, DAWs, editing, mixing, when to take lunch breaks, and any other thing you can think of that comes with music production. We’ll record real musicians and produce a track from scratch to then be mixed, mastered and enjoyed.
